GARY JOHNSON MEMORIAL INVITATIONAL - September 20 - 22, 2019 @ Branson, Missouri
Please join your friends from the Show Me, Hernando DeSoto, Twister Alley and Classic Chassis Regions for a fun filled weekend in Branson, Missouri at the picturesque Bradford Inn. We will celebrate the life of Gary Johnson, long term friend, Treasurer, and founding member of the Show Me Region of LCCI. All LCCI Regions and Members are welcome!
The Bradford Inn is charming - nestled on a bluff overlooking the City of Branson. The rooms all have views from balconies or patios, some with jacuzzies and/or fireplaces. Included in the cost of the rooms will be a full, cooked breakfast and the Inn's legendary home-made pastries, prepared on site. We will occupy most if not all of the Inn for the weekend. There is plenty of parking for our cars. The website for Bradford Inn is https://www.bradfordinn.us/. See below for instructions for room reservations.
Expect a fun, relaxing weekend enjoying the sights and activities of Branson – and of course enjoy the cars and company of your LCCI friends. Branson, which lies on beautiful Table Rock Lake, is the 20th most visited destination in the country and offers a wide variety of music, shows, attractions, and outdoor activities. Please follow this link to the Branson Visitors Bureau and make your plans. https://www.explorebranson.com. We encourage you to make plans/purchase tickets in advance to ensure you place!
We encourage all chapters to organize group drives departing Friday morning in time to arrive by around 2 PM. At 3 PM, a welcome reception will be held at the Bradford Inn Conference Room. Soda, snacks and water will be provided. At 4 PM we will depart the Inn and caravan to the Branson Main Street Landing and board the Landing Princess for a dinner cruise on Lake Taneycomo. Included with your registration fee will be a full dinner, including dessert and coffee or tea. A cash bar will be available. After the approximate 2-hour cruise, you will be free to explore Branson night life or return to the Inn for a relaxing evening with friends.
Saturday you will enjoy a full breakfast at the Bradford Inn. We will depart the hotel at 10AM for a group drive to tour the Branson Auto and Farm Museum (admission included in your registration fee). The museum has more than 2 acres under roof, housing hundreds of classic, muscle and street rod cars as well as farm machines. Following the museum tour, you will be free to explore Branson on your own, see the sights and attractions, or enjoy Table Rock Lake. You’ll have dinner on your own before you line your cars up for the Tail Light Glow at 7:00 PM.
Sunday, we will hold Cars and Coffee from 8AM to 10:30 AM and you will be served your breakfast. Then depart for home or continue your weekend in Branson.
